Lachelle is a graduate of Liberty University with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is currently working toward licensure as an LPC and has joined the practice as a remote therapist. Lachelle completed her undergraduate degree at Norfolk State University (NSU) with a Bachelor's in Sociology. Lachelle believes in using a holistic approach and integrative style of treatment that isn't limited to person-centered, CBT strategies, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused modalities. It is Lachelle's primary goal to create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment that will allow you to explore difficult topics and gain greater knowledge of yourself, others, and your relationships. Lachelle has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families with a variety of concerns and diagnoses, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, personality disorders, trauma and co-occuring diagnoses. Lachelle has also closely worked with Norfolk and Newport News Public Schools, the Department of Juvenile Justice, Community Stabilization, and Community-based therapy. Lachelle is also trained in Brainspotting and is ready to assist clients interested in engaging in this modality!
